I realise that these entries have some what become a quarterly thing. Since I'm spending almost 80% of my time at work. Its a whole new story once schools over and you face reality. Pretty tiring and draining might I add.

Nevertheless, life goes on. Nothing new so far, except that I have been away for a whole month in North America, mainly New York getting myself trained to become a more competent employee! Not sure if its helped alot so far, but was a free trip to a great city.

New York was great fun, met lots of different people, ate all the pasta from little Italy, walked like crazy, took the dirty yet somewhat efficient subway in and around Manhattan. When they say to walk a block from one place to another it literally means that you have to walk ten thousand miles from where your at and where you want to go!

Back in Hong Kong, it was real great seeing and hanging out with people, especially because it brought back those good memories.

So whether looks like its not cooling down any time soon, but yes, although i've lived here now 21 years of my life, i tend to forget that Hong Kong has no fall or spring weather.

Still having my problems with stinky feet...though I get the feeling that my coworkers are all immune to the smell now since I don't hear any more complaining that something stinks. I am really getting the feeling that it's alot to do with the amount of sweat that i produce and especially in my work shoes which are all closed toe pumps.

I have actually been brave enough to go get all my wisdom teeth pulled out!

Initially i went to get a filling since my old one fell out long time ago and i never went back to get it refilled, so I had a deep rotten hole in the back of my teeth for a while and it started to hurt. I knew that the cavity was deep enough that it would be highly sensitive once the dentist started drilling, SO i ask for extra shots in and around my mouth to numb the area.

obviously that was way too much for just a cavity since half my face, from my ear to my chin, including half my tongue had no sensation what so ever. I was half a retard for the remainder of the evening.

I booked another dentist appointment a week after since he recommended that i take my lower right wisdom teeth out.

Dentist said minor surgery, piece of cake. I told him that i wanted everything done to my teeth in one day. Cleaning, filling my other cavities, all my remaining wisdoms. Intensive trauma to face. I had to get off work early to go for this 2 and half hour session.

The whole process was quite good...not too painful..but ofcourse almost my whole lower part of my face, including my ears were numb.

Afterwards, when the anaesthesia started wearing off, things start to hurt BAD! Swallowing was so painful as well and i look like an oversized chipmunk. Luckily pain started to ease up and i was able to eat quite soon after and for this I would like to thank the painkillers from the dentist.

1 and half weeks down from the process my stitches all removed, i feel great, and i'm eating better! YAY!

I am finally done with school thank god!

I don't think I ever want to go through school again...or if i do decide to go back....i won't be going back for another 10 billion years.

Hong Kong has become extremely hot and humid, very much like all Hong Kong summers...it's pretty disgusting.

So went to gym today because I decided to make the decision to go to the gym and exercise. Actually they have some new classes at california fitness and i thought they might do me some good so I went to go try them out.

First up....yoga...not bad...some funny retarded positions that i wasn't used to at all...just proved to the whole class how unflexible I was. Now not only this...afterwards, i decided to try out a ballet class. (I dunno why but they had ballet...thought it'd make me a little bit more taller...) and surprise surprise there is a guy teaching the class. Expectedly he is real great....kicks real high with really pointy pointy toes...fortunately he didn't wear tights...! I thought it was great fun because I was so uncoordinated...couldn't do what he asked us all to do...and in the end...i ended up with cramps in my toes and calves!

Actually he asked us to spin on our tip toes too...but that was too advanced for me so i just turned around....but you know in the end i feel much more flexible....but we'll see how my body feels tomorrow morning!!

Been about 2-3 months since I've written here, have been and still am extremely busy trying to finish up with school.

Shermon: Very sorry I haven't checked xanga since today! Hope everything is good with you, give me a shout when your back in Hong Kong!

I am currently in the busiest time of my life and yet these are the times which really motivate me to come to this website and write a few things...sure does show how much I procrastinate about studying.

I have been noticing some funny behaviour amongst our fellow KGVers recently...some people (and I'm not mentioning any names) are becoming extremely sappy and corny. Perhaps this is what happens to you when you grow up who knows! Seems kinda gay in my opinion, but nevertheless not a bad thing in that respect.

Been eating shit loads, of course this is supposedly meant to help my brain churn up facts and figures for my exams, but it seems like it's only been fueling my appetite and my horizontal growth.

I have officially finished classes forever and I am waiting for my last exam in which I am doomed, corporate finance is something that has not and perhaps never will click with me.

I'm trying to think about some funny things that happened to me recently and one thing that I can think of off the top of my head is just a few days ago.

I don't mean to repeat my stories over and over again, but having experienced this problem again and in a much more embarrassing way I think I have some serious issues I need resolved.

So a few days ago, my coworkers and I went out for an early lunch. Someone had booked a room at a japanese restaurant nearby. I set out early with one of the 5 people that were supposed to go for lunch to the bank so that I could get some cash at the nearby ATM machine.

Of course Hong Kong being one of those countries that experience nasty tropical weather, it was raining quite heavily as we stepped out of the building.

Me, wearing pants that dragged a little, I picked up each pant leg with each hand and proceeded to run to the ATM machine with my coworker. After getting some money we ran to the restaurant.

This restaurant has one of those room in which you sit on the floor to eat, but unlike a traditional japanese restaurant where you really have to sit cross legged on the floor, this room cheated and had a hidden deep pit under the table for you to stick your feet and sit as though your sitting on a chair.

NOW, this restaurant or room meant that you have to take your shoes off to enter. So this is what we did. Initally things were ok, we sat there waiting for the rest of the people to arrive. When they did, came this horrible smell....smell of stinky feet. I thought that it was my other coworker who had just arrived so I ignored it. My other coworker kept on saying it was stinky and was looking around. I just kept on thinking it was the other person sitting next to me...so I guess I made it seem like it wasn't me. I kept on sitting their nonchalantly waiting for our meals to arrive.

I dunno if everyone had smelt the smell, but it seemed uncomfortably silent during lunch. I couldn't even smell it once lunch arrived, so being me, I kept on eating and eating until I was done.

We were walking our after paying the bill and about to put our shoes back on when my coworker said out loud that she knew why it was so stinky...coz it was raining and that our shoes were wet. Either way I shrugged it off coz I was so damn sure that it wasn't my feet that stank. It started to stink after my other coworkers arrived so couldn't have been me!

We worked throughout the day and had this important meeting after lunch. Funnily there were so many people there that there weren't enough seats for us all, some of us, ME had to stand up throughout the whole meeting. Half way through the meeting I had to sit down on the floor (3 inch heels is not good to be standing in). My coworker was also sitting on floor next to me, and all of a sudden there seemed to be a faint smell. I shrugged that off again, couldn't be me!

So the whole day passes and I go home and then I take of my shoes and being me, I decided to check if my shoes smelt, so I took a whiff...and ofcourse the smell was exactly the same as the stench during lunch, meeting and of course at my desk.

I don't know why my feet smell so much...especially at the most awkward times too...funny thing was that I kept on thinking that it was someone else's feet and not mine. Either way I'm sure everyone else knew....

HOLY MOLY! Been about 2-3 months since I last updated this.

Just plodding along with school doing whatever I can to make sure I graduate. I've been offered a full time job with Goldman, but I dunno if I'm ready to do that kind of work just yet. Going through this messed up stage of confusion as to what sort of job I should be going for. To my surprise it seems that my boss and co-workers know more than I think about me!...I dunno whether thats a good or bad thing.

SO....I have a thesis to write too...which I'm pretty fucked for coz I haven't a clue whats going on and what I'm doing...I'm just doing what the proff is telling me to do! In the end I guess it's his thesis not mine! hahahahaha which is perfectly fine by me coz I just want to get it over and done with so that I can leave my shit hole school.

Anything funny happen to me recently? hmmmm....not really

Been going to the gym lately which is a good thing, except it's gross coz that place just filled with sweaty gay people.....

OOOOOoooOOoo...and I'm considering getting a doggie!!!!

I dunno if anyone remembers but I live near the area which is famous for all it's dog shops! I spotted this one little cutie that I am very motivated to buy. This doggie is a chi hua hua! Yes very small and sometimes very feisty. I'm still pondering whether I should buy it or not, coz I dunno if i'm ready to commit to such responsibilities, on the other hand, I really want a dog.....?

Can dogs be left home alone?

Been extremely busy and lazy these past few weeks and months and I haven't been updating my xanga very often.

Its chinese new year here...and we have a very very long weekend...I LOVE holidays...something really worth looking foward to in life these days...! Every year we have chinese new year I think about all you people in North American that miss out on these extra long festivities....suckers!

Either way been spending more time with my family, just came home today and realise theres this smell in the house, smells like garbage/rotten something/stinking feet (notice how there is a recurring theme that involves bad smells and stinky feet in my blogs...apologies but I do have a rather acute sense of smell...and any stench is exaggerated and amplified by my nose making it something worth writing about), anywayz...I find out that it's a traditional dish made from fermented bean paste (the ones that are even more fermented...basically rotten beans). Ironically the name of the soup directly translated into english is called "garbage soup". I'm a little afraid to go out and see people tomorrow coz I'm scared I have this smell in printed into my clothes...in actual fact...I'm gonna have to eat some tomorrow...(not that it tastes bad...it tastes quite good actually!) Just talking about that I would like to share a little quote that I love saying all the time "smells like shit...tastes like heaven". There are many things in Hong Kong that fit well with this quote. Lets take for example DURIAN...another one of my favourite things to eat...smells like poo/fart BUT taste absolutely wonderful! Another is the CHAU DOU FU ("stinky tou fu") smells like rotten food but actually taste real great! I seem to have veered too far from what I've been talking about...lemme make a point to all this stinky but delicious food...for those people who haven't tried them....try it!

So I have a really good day in store for me tomorrow...gonna go out and do a little bit of shopping...all the final year end sales are going on and I will out trying to catch all those good deals and bargains...!

I haven't recieved much "Lai See" this year...but I guess everyones pockets are still recovering from SARS...but who really knows...I think they're just being extra cheap this year...!

School is ridiculous...I have one more semester left to go and I'm glad it's my last...I just want to graduate and get out...

Work? I don't even want to go there...it's getting boring by the minute...I realise I have conditioned myself into feeling extra sleepy once I get in and really awake once I get out...not a very good thing...but either way ...

Oh yes I would like to end off with a rather funny story...a hilarious but very embarassing thing that happened to me over the past month. So Henry's bought a car...and I ask him to pick me up from work...he's waiting downstairs the building but as I approach outside I see several cars. Being dark did not really help as I approach the nearest car and jump in. After closing the door I say quite abruptly "alright, lets go!" and as I say this I look to the driver seat to find out that there is a stranger sitting next to me looking as "what-the-fuck" as I. For a split moment I pause and look at him thinking...yep thats definitely not Henry...and then I finally pull it together that I am in the wrong car! I say my apologies...obviously because I don't want to be sitting there all day explaining why I had gotten into this other car...and I get out. Behind me is Henry looking rather confused too...he has this wierd expression...and asks me ...was that you? and I'm like yep thats me...lets go quick!....
